Who are we?
Mommy and Me Doula is a mother and daughter doula team. In 2011 we worked together and delivered our first baby at Mercy Hospital in Baltimore Md. Our goal is to serve our families in a unique way. We pride ourselves on providing families with positive experiences.
Gillen Saunders, Birth and Postpartum Doula
Serving as a doula in the Baltimore area since 2012. This is my passion which leaves me with never second guessing becoming a certified Doula and turning this into a career.
The pregnancy process is such a beautiful and diligent experience that I love to be apart of ; so much so that one year I served a family on my birthday.
I take pride in being the comforter, encourager, and sound voice throughout the process.

Doula: LPN x 40(+) hrs; assisted in the birth of 46 children
• cumulative effect: experiences helped with rounding my practice
• up until now references have been strictly by word-of-mouth
• teaching couples about pregnancy/labor and delivery in a way mainstream medicine is not bothering to touch
• greater than 50% of past clients are still together (primarily due to Faith based approach)
• constantly learning- to stay current on various strategies for my vocation
• the earlier in the pregnancy I meet the couple the higher the compensation (for me)
